rue os
rue os × rue studio: the control centre for a small studio — open it in the morning and know within thirty seconds what is due today, what needs attention and where the money stands. Runs internally at our studio, and will soon be available.
Attitude
A small business has a tool for everything — mail, accounting, code, files — but no place that knows how it all connects: which lead has been waiting two weeks for a reply, which invoice is overdue, what actually matters today. A big CRM answers that with a hundred fields nobody maintains. We are interested in the opposite: an operating system for the business, opened in the morning the way others open their calendar.
Our task
- Build an overview that makes the whole business readable in thirty seconds — due today, needs attention, sales, projects, finances.
- Compute attention from deterministic rules instead of AI: an overdue invoice, an approaching deadline, a follow-up left lying. Items disappear by themselves once the condition is fixed.
- Link instead of replace: Outlook stays the calendar, the books stay the books, GitHub stays the code — rue os holds the context and the shortest way there.

Attention, not gut feeling
Overdue invoice, follow-up left lying, approaching deadline, missing backup: fixed rules report what needs attention, and the items disappear by themselves once the condition is fixed. No AI guessing — rules you can read.
One day, one list
Focus shows what today holds — overdue first — and “work through today” leads item by item. What is due to close this week sits right next to it.

Linked, not replaced
rue os does not rebuild Outlook, accounting, GitHub or iCloud — it points to where the work lives and keeps, on every client and project, the shortest way to its places. No copies, no second truth.
The data stays home
One local database per installation, passkey sign-in instead of passwords, automatic backups — and no third-party account holding the whole business.
Available soon
rue os runs at our studio and is being readied for release. If you want it for your own business, you get your own installation — with your own terms, templates and routines. Write to us.
