Attitude
An invitation is not a form. It is the first thing somebody holds of an occasion, and it decides how seriously that occasion is taken. Made digital it usually becomes a calendar link with a confirm button — faster, yes, but missing exactly what one goes to a printer for. We are interested in whether the care of a printed sheet survives a screen.
Our task
- Build an invitation that feels made when it opens, not like a notification.
- Keep the path from sending to accepting short enough that guests without patience still arrive.
- Set it up so an occasion does not feel repeated — every invitation should look like its own celebration, not like the tool.
Paper does one thing particularly well
It shows effort. Anyone holding a printed sheet knows without explanation that somebody took trouble. That signal is exactly what gets lost when an invitation becomes a link.
